This policy explains what information the game Haul Yeah! collects and how it’s handled. Haul Yeah! is made by Moonjump Pty Ltd (“Moonjump”, “we”, “us”) in Canberra, Australia. It covers the game on every platform it’s released on. The Moonjump website has its own website privacy policy.
The short version
- You don’t need an account with us to play.
- The game doesn’t collect personal information, and it has no advertising or analytics.
- Your save games and settings stay on your device, or in your platform’s cloud storage if you use it.
- The store you bought the game from (such as Steam) handles your purchase and account under its own privacy policy.
What the game stores on your device
Haul Yeah! saves your progress, your courier and company, and your settings (such as graphics, audio, controls and language) on the device you play on. Two-player co-op is local split-screen, so nothing about your co-op partner leaves the device. Deleting your save files or uninstalling the game removes this data. If your platform syncs saves to its cloud storage (for example Steam Cloud), the platform stores a copy under its own terms.
What we collect
Through the game itself, nothing that identifies you. Haul Yeah! doesn’t ask for your name or email, doesn’t create an account with us, doesn’t show advertising, and doesn’t send gameplay analytics or crash reports to Moonjump. If we ever add optional diagnostics, they’ll be off until you choose to turn them on, and we’ll update this policy before that version is released.
Steam, consoles and other stores
The store or platform you get Haul Yeah! from handles your purchase, payment, account, friends list, achievements and cloud saves. Its own privacy policy applies to that information, for example Valve’s privacy policy for Steam. When the game releases on Nintendo, PlayStation or Xbox platforms, the privacy policies of Nintendo, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Microsoft apply to those versions in the same way.
Platforms give us aggregated reports, such as sales, wishlists and total playtime by country. These reports don’t identify individual players, and we use them to understand how the game is doing.
If you contact us
If you email us or use the contact form about the game, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply and fix any problem you report. We keep it only as long as we need it to help you, and we delete it sooner if you ask. If you sign up for our newsletter, the website privacy policy covers that.
Sharing
We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don’t share it with advertisers. We only share information when the law requires it.
Children
Haul Yeah! doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you think a child has sent us personal information by email or the contact form, tell us and we’ll delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you’re in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In Australia you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. We’d appreciate the chance to fix any concern first.
Changes to this policy
If the game’s handling of information changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches players. Read the Haul Yeah! end user licence agreement alongside this policy.
